The exhibitions are coming thick and fast for Spillard Safety Systems. Following our appearance at Plantworx from 13-15th June, we will also be returning to Road Transport Expo from 28-30th June 2023.
Held at the NAEC Stoneleigh in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, Road Transport Expo focuses on trucks and everything related to them, making it the perfect place for Spillard to present its safety solutions for HGV fleets. With over 200 exhibitors already signing up to the show, Road Transport Expo brings the finest minds from the HGV industry together to network and share ideas. You will find us outside on Stand B8, where we will be showing our range of products that continue to save lives in the commercial vehicle industry.
One of our innovations that we will be bringing to the event is the AI Human Detection System, a simple, yet clever product that detects only the human form. As a result, this helps drivers of HGV vehicles stay alert of human hazards around them on roads, including pedestrians and cyclists. With sensors around the vehicle, and audio/visual alerts to keep the driver aware of their surroundings, this deep learning technology is proven to keep vulnerable road users safe around an HGV vehicle.
From years of working with all levels of vehicle safety, we understand the importance of data in preserving the safety of vulnerable road users. Our AI Human Detection System is designed to keep everyone safe, preventing injuries or worse.
We will also proudly be showing our award-winning Spillard Live cloud-based platform at the show, which captures, processes, and learns from innovative live video telematics. This is the perfect solution for fleet managers who want more transparency regarding their fleet data.
This system records information such as vehicle location, speed, impact force and driving style, meaning you will be able to monitor your fleet and driver behaviour. This driver data and vehicle event footage is tracked in real-time, so you never miss a thing, ever. With new risks becoming more and more prominent as time goes on, Spillard is here to help reduce the number of fatal and non-fatal accidents, and discover ways for fleets to optimise their performance.
Finally, our 360˚ surround view camera system will be on display at Road Transport Expo. This system consists of cameras strategically located around a vehicle, which then generates a synthesised top-down image and a touch screen changeable 3D immersive view of a vehicle and its surroundings; this gives the impression as if you were hovering above it.
All images are presented on a crystal clear, single display, giving the driver a high-quality view of what is around them, no matter whether it is day or night. This removes the risk of dangerous blind spots, helping to improve driver visibility and keep vulnerable road users safe. With this solution, Spillard is going further to help protect pedestrians and other road users, but also your fleet. Together, we can reduce accidents and save lives.
